As many of you know, I have returned to Haiti. I came back yesterday afternoon. I had an amazing time back in the states visiting and hanging out with my family and friends. It was such an enriching time for me that I really needed. To all those who took time to love on and fellowship with me, I thank you so much. You are loved and appreciated more than you know!
Back to Haiti; last night I was feeling a bit down just because I miss everyone. Honestly, I also miss the quality of life that I have in the US. I had to struggle with that last night as I know that is my privileged, selfish flesh that pulls me in those thought directions. But I am encouraged that this is where the Almighty wants me to be for now and I am resting in that. Today I started my morning with reading and being refreshed after 12 hours of sleep. Haiti is my home away from home until the end of 2018 and I am fine with that by God’s grace!
My sights are firmly set on Him here in Haiti. I have left my friends and family behind in the US for the next 5 months and will do the work that God has set before me. God is good! I want to thank everyone who has prayed for me both during my time here and also the past couple of days as I have transitioned back into life in Haiti. You all are the real MVPs. People like me can’t do it without prayer warriors behind us. Thank you also to everyone who has continued to support me financially, I also couldn’t do it without the monetary support that is required of me while I am here. You guys have made such great sacrifices and I thank you so much!
Please don’t hesitate to contact me on facebook or if you have my Haitian number, whatsapp. There are several friends who I talk to every so often and it’s really good spiritually and emotionally to keep in contact with my loved ones who constantly support and encourage me.
